ANOTHER DAY HAS PASSED

Bereft of institutional legitimacy
And convinced that everything is rigged
He-who-left-no-mark
Retreated to his hermit's shack
Creatively loafing another day away
And longing for something to do.
Ah, to have a purpose, a goal,
To focus on accomplishing something!
Yet even the resistance seems rigged.
He thought of Vladimir Megre's Ringing Cedars series,
John Coleman's Committee of 300 book,
A People's History of the United States: 1492 - Present by Howard Zinn
And he could only weep, glad that he had no kids
No one to answer to -
Only a wife who thought him a foolish man.
Something will change
Some new something is coming.
But what?
Can love survive a set-up world?
He sat in his ringside seat, wondering,
Down. Another day has passed.
Thanks be to God
