From the back cover:

Marylander, weird task specialist,
and author, Jack Suss documents
his red pilled, outlier existence
via science fiction, an intellectual
autobiography, and now—poetry.
Also a bluesman, Suss advocates
for using laser-like mental faculties
and deeply intuitive sensibilities.
His work seeks to flesh out the soul
of authentic reality, and to unveil
the many hideous manifestations
of its antithesis.

A raconteur of all that passes before the windscreen of his mind, Jack Suss, spins poems as he traverses both the geo-spatial and ethereal terrain. Here is a choice record of anecdotes, some scruffy and mundane, some outlandlishly sublime. They are highlights from almost a half-century in a bewildering “driftscape.”

Suss exhorts the reader to search the words “salmagundi” and “gallimaufry.” Then, dare to submerge yourself into a poetic mixed bag that guarantees to serve up some delectable mince-meat-for-the-mind.

This volume of poetic paroxisms aptly captures the playful perspicacity of the author of the Plight of the Cultural Mutant (2017). Those who are similarly inclined to wander and ponder may be gratified by much of what is found herein.

This volume of poetry includes selected gems chosen by the author as representative of his work, taken from "wasted days and wasted nights" that span almost half a century. It's beat poetry with existential twists that pop and sizzle, serving up a soul platter of surprises, red pill detours and meditations for the potato head in all of us. The poems are peppered and laced with color graphics meant to be pleasing to the eye, offering respite from the text (not to mention mundane reality).
